Precise control

With few exceptions, industrial cooling processes reject heat into the atmosphere. Heat rejection becomes more challenging and energy intensive as ambient air temperature increases. HALO™ adiabatic precooling frames effectively transform the entering ambient air temperature into a controllable input to the cooling process. Suppressing the entering air temperature in a controlled way maximizes cooling reliability, capacity, and efficiency while minimizing water usage.

Air-cooled Chillers, Dry Coolers, Packaged DX Units, Remote Condensers, and Radiators

The HALO™ frames envelop the condensing section or radiator of any air-cooled equipment. This includes air-cooled chillers, packaged DX units, remote condensers, dry coolers, generator inlets, natural gas reciprocating engine radiators, etc.

Complete coil protection

HALO™ protects condenser coils from leaves, pollen, dust, and other airborne particulates, extending the effective life of the coil. The pre-screen acts a coarse pre-filter and the CoilShield™ evaporative media cartridge prevents any carryover of water to the coil.

Custom-manufactured for perfect fit

Each HALO™ precooling frame is custom-manufactured to the dimensions of the specific equipment on which it is installed. This ensures that the frames will perfectly fit any equipment any major OEM equipment. HALO™ frames are proudly manufactured in the United States of America factory in Memphis, TN.

Magnetic attachment

HALO™ frames magnetically attach to cover the air-cooled condenser or radiator inlet. Magnetic attachment allows for easy maintenance and simple access to the internal components of the base equipment on which the system is installed. Quick disconnect supply and drain lines also support easy access.
